that I'm not even sure I remember how. Hi everyone! I'm Ceresi! I used to make stuff, like fic and art. The thought of posting has been causing much anxiety for the past year or so, so I avoided it, thereby cleverly increasing my anxiety. Total win.

There are many comments and replies and stuff that I owe people, and I certainly haven't forgotten them. I've still checked my flist two or three times a day for the past Year of Silence so rest assured that I still ♥ you all and will keep blabbing at you as long as you'll have me. But I thought maybe I could ease myself back into posting by disabling comments and yakking fannishly a few times, and then I will resume socializing and/or groveling as necessary.

So here is my fannish yakking: KOTOR 2! I finally got around to playing it b/c of the new MMO that's coming out soon and wow, I forgot how flat the KOTOR engine was, and how boring combat could be. But the story of KOTOR 2 is pretty good, if a lot less organized than KOTOR 1. Like, I was halfway through the game and it wasn't until I read some of the character articles at Wookiepedia that I understood some of the major backstory (like, Malachor V level major).

But there is a part of the story that has been prompting thinky thoughts on my part, so here they are: ( KOTOR 2, exile, and disability. some spoilers ahead )

So, this is wildly incoherent! Awesome!

And here's the downside of disallowing comments, because I don't really want to talk about this with myself, I want to take about it with other people. So I'll leave the comments unlocked, but with the caveat that I might not reply, or at least not in any cohesive way. If I don't reply please don't take it personally, I am a dork. Someday I will function like an actual human being but that day will be some time from now, I'm afraid.

Okay, I know I'm a total lamer for not posting at all in the however many months, I suck, school work school school busy busy blah.

BUT SOMEONE on my friendslist posted a poem sometime ago. I don't remember all of it but I'm pretty sure one of the lines was "for whom the world was made". I think it was printed in the NY Times and they might have posted it for Poetry Month? And maybe it was written about the habeas corpus issue or maybe that's just me misremembering.

I have no excuse for my absence, I suck, but assuming whoever posted that poem is still on my flist please please forgive me long enough to link to that post? GOOGLE IS FAILING ME. I didn't think that could happen!

I have so many things I think about writing everyday and somehow I never get around to it. November is way too busy for me to do NaBloPoMo but maybe I'll try in December.

It's Beka Cooper from the cover of Tamora Pierce's Bloodhound! I went to the library last weekend and ended up grabbing Terrier and Bloodhound and am totally in love with them. The covers were also really well done, too, which surprised me b/c usually teen fantasy fiction covers are awful (or they were, back in the days when I used to read regularly). Anyway, I love it. Beka is awesome. (That's five sentences, isn't it?)

(Okay seriously, if I can be serious for a moment without making things too emo, there have been times the past few months where I felt like I was falling off the edge of the world and I couldn't remember why that was bad. And now I have noms and a card and a letter, and the noms are great but the fact that you guys went to all the trouble to send these things to me is something potentially epic. And now I'm getting wibbly again! Must stop being serious now.)

I was totally not expecting it today, or for it to contain so much delicious noms! I got kind of wibbly, no lie. Also, the cat is very suspicious of the box, but is being won over by the food via slivers of fruit snack. I give it an hour before she's sitting in the box and looking smug.
